11. When to Quit

There are a lot of conflicting theories surrounding whether or not we should leave jobs if we find them unfulfilling. Do you stick it out in the name of demonstrating perseverance? Or do you quit to help preserve your sense of wellbeing?

Today’s subject is very close to my heart as someone who ‘stuck it out’ for more than 7 years in roles that were severely detrimental to my work satisfaction, happiness and mental health. I use my experiences to discuss both sides of the argument and offer some advice on how to evaluate your personal circumstances in order to make a decision that is right for you.
